Ilan Manouach (born 11 July 1980) is a Greek-born, Brussels-based comics artist, researcher and publisher, known for conceptual comics that rework existing works and for Shapereader, a tactile system of comics for blind readers. His work is the subject of a critical anthology, Ilan Manouach in Review (Routledge, 2023). He holds a PhD from Aalto University (2022), was a postdoctoral fellow of the F.R.S.-FNRS at the University of Liège, and is principal investigator of The Knowledge Codex, a project on comics and climate representation funded by the Swedish Research Council at Uppsala University.
