Pakistan's magazine comics of the late 1980s and 1990s survive in one title, Taleem-o-Tarbiat, an Urdu children's magazine published by Ferozsons in Lahore since April 1941.
Its cartoonists include Nigar Nazar, Pakistan's first female cartoonist and creator of Gogi, and a wave of new titles appeared between 2013 and 2019.
